My favorite Hollywood ginger, Marcia Cross, went out to lunch yesterday and it looks to me like she arrived and left the restaurant by herself. The thought of Marcia eating by herself breaks my black, thimble-sized heart. Marcia, if you ever need a lunch buddy, feel free to give me a call!
First of all, my condolences go out to everyone who has money in the stock market and was planning to retire soon. I just checked on my stocks and almost started crying. It’s going to take an awful lot of Maker’s Mark to make me feel better. Right about now, I wish I were Shauna Sand.
While I’m busy counting my pennies, trying to come up with enough cash to buy some cat food, Kim Kardashian is probably applying hundreds of dollars worth of Mac makeup. She went to the Mac store on Robertson Blvd. yesterday and picked up some new stuff. Don’t ask me about the outfit, because I don’t know what to make of it. I kind of like it, but I kind of hate it, too. I’m conflicted!
Mac makeup is way too expensive for me. If I were to put that on my skin, my face wouldn’t know what to do with itself. I tend to go the low quality route and hit up the Wet ‘N Wild counter more than anything else…at 99 cents each, I can buy all the makeup I want!
Star Magazine is reporting that Lisa Marie Presley gave birth to twin girls yesterday at Los Robles Hospital in Thousand Oaks, California. The twins are her third and fourth children, but the first with Michael Lockwood, her husband. The three ladies are said to be happy, healthy and doing well.
The source that spilled the news to Star didn’t reveal their names, but I’m not holding my breath for anything great. Her other two kids are named Riley and Ben, which is a far cry from Miss Harlow Winter.
Regardless of what she ended up naming the kids, congrats!
Here’s another exclusive! This time, the Mavrix cameras were at Bank nightclub in Las Vegas last night, taking exclusive pics of Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony. Over the last couple of years, I’ve heard lots of rumors about the two of them possibly splitting. In these shots, they look happier than ever!
In candid photos like these, you really get a feel for how people really are. This wasn’t a staged photo-op, set up by some PR people. I’m pretty sure Jennifer and Marc didn’t even know they were having their photo taken!
Suzanne Somers is turning 62 next week, and she looks amazing. I’d be willing to bet my total net worth (read: a half bag of cat food, some pocket lint and half of a Dove dark chocolate candy bar) that she’s hiding the fountain of youth in one of her giant walk-in closets. It’s seriously the only explanation I can come up with. She didn’t write that Ageless book for nothing, damnit!
Suzanne here is actually one of my favorite women of all time. She’s a fantastic role model, and has taken her career from Three’s Company to CEO of a multi-million dollar organization. Plus, she beat breast cancer. She’s a total inspiration!
Holy Crap! Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson were on the Loveline radio show to discuss the Travis Barker/DJ AM plane crash tragedy when things took a turn in a very different direction. The show’s host, Striker, started off talking to Samantha. Soon she handed the phone to Lindsay, and this what was said:
Stryker: “Now, you and Samantha have been going out for how long now? Two years? One year? Five months? Two months?”
Lindsay: (Laughs) “A very long time.“
Stryker congratulates her and tells her that the two of them make for a lovely couple, then Lindsay thanks him.
It looks like it’s pretty clear to me! I certainly didn’t see this one coming. I thought for sure that if/when the two of them came out, they’d do it in an exclusive magazine interview and score themselves several million dollars. You know, kind of like Lance Bass, but more Home Depot-ier.
The women from Sex and the City were out in full force last night for the DVD release party at the New York public library. I’ve never heard of shindigs like this taking place in a library, but whatever. At this point in time, however, I would like to draw your attention to Kim Cattrall. I know that her outfit probably costs more than my car, but I swear I saw something totally similar in a Tulsa, Oklahoma Wal Mart last year around Christmas time. Those Wal Mart shoppers love a little glitz and glamor around the holidays!
Sarah Jessica Parker, on the other hand, absolutely killed it! The hair was fabulous, the makeup was flawless and her dress was nearly perfect (what’s up with that pattern on the front? I thought at first it was a smoke trail from a cigarette, but I’m pretty sure that’s on the dress).
Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson were hosting an evening at the Ultra Supper Club in Toronto last night, and it looks like they are engaged! If you check out the second photo in the set, the one of the close-up of Lindsay’s hand, you can see that she’s wearing a heart-shaped diamond ring on her engagement finger. Recently, the state of California has started recognizing same-sex marriages as legal.
Whether they really are engaged or just taking advantage of some free publicity remains to be seen, but I suspect it is more of the former and less of the latter. They’ve reportedly been together for quite some time now (although Lindsay has yet to officially come out of the closet), and it’s legal now, so why not?
Hayden Christensen, the hottie from the Star Wars movies, just might be engaged to Rachel Bilson. I feel like this is turning into Engagement Watch ‘08 or something…first Lindsay now these two! Rumors were sparked when Rachel went out and about while wearing a ring on her left ring finger. Rachel isn’t the type to pull a publicity stunt, either (cue evil side-eye to Lindsay Lohan). When asked about the ring, Hayden played coy and said “what ring?”
In other H.C. news, he’s researching a new movie role, which requires him to handle guns. He spent a good portion of yesterday at a gun club shooting at things, and apparently he’s a pretty good shot!
These pictures of Marcia Cross and one of her twin girls melts my cold, black heart. That kid is like, the cutest thing ever, and even Marcia’s looking pretty good. Do you see how she’s smiling in these pictures? Kanye West needs to take notes, because that’s how you’re supposed to treat photographers.
